Son, grandson, and great-grandson of winegrowers, it has always seemed natural to us that working the vine would be the central pursuit of our lives. This craft, rich in encounters and shared pleasures, is one we carry out with passion, with the aim of passing on values that are dear to us. The pursuit of simplicity, the commitment to well-crafted work, and the sharing of our know-how are what guide us day after day, both in the making of our wines and in life at the estate.

Ours wines

Pouilly-Fumé
Granted AOC status in 1936, this appellation of the Centre-Loire is among the most prestigious in the world for its dry white wines, renowned for their fruit and minerality. Sauvignon Blanc has here found a land of choice to fully express its flavors. In our Pouilly-Fumé, you will discover great freshness, subtle aromas of citrus and white flowers, along with a touch of salinity characteristic of the finest Pouilly wines.

Côtes de la Charité
Recognized as an IGP since 2011, this appellation cultivates Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In the Middle Ages, it was the Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Bouras and La Charité who first uncovered the potential of these clay-limestone slopes. The terroirs and climate are close to those of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, offering a subtle combination of the best of Centre-Loire and Burgundy. Our plots, located in the village of Chasnay, provide ideal conditions to create round, fruity wines with delicate tannins.

About the terroir

The Terroirs of Pouilly and Côtes de la Charité

Pouilly-Fumé (Sauvignon Blanc) :
- Caillottes (limestone pebbles): light, stony soils producing crisp, aromatic wines.
- Terres Blanches (Kimmeridgian marl with fossilized shells): richer soils giving powerful, structured wines with depth.
- Silex (flint): imparting a distinctive mineral edge and the famous smoky, “gunflint” character.

This diversity creates wines of great complexity, where freshness, tension, and roundness harmoniously combine.

Côtes de la Charité (Pinot Noir & Chardonnay):
The vineyards flourish on clay-limestone slopes, similar to those found in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. This terroir, combined with the cool Centre-Loire climate, produces elegant wines that are fresh, fruity, and beautifully balanced, with fine tannins in the reds and roundness in the whites.
